I recently added a section on wedding favours to my website and the idea of homemade cookies got me thinking…

I have some awesome recipes that are fairly easy to make and have a certain wow factor. And so began the cookie department of the Bubbles and Butterflies wedding company.

Not only do these make great wedding favours, but they also work well as gift for family, friends, colleagues, teachers and yourself. So far my range includes Gobble Biscuits, Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies and the ones that started it all: Pillow Biscuits.

If you’re having a tea party, run a guesthouse providing tea services or you just want something a little special these are great.

And a delivery idea: instead of sending flowers to someone or having to go out and buy a chocolate, why not send them a bag of freshly baked homemade cookies with your own personalised message? Great thank you gift for people that have done something particularly special for you.

The idea is just starting to get off the ground so I don’t have photos yet. The cookies range from R2 to R4 a cookie (you choose how many you would like to send) and delivery (only in the Cape Town area) would be starting from R20.
